Paneer koftay


Ingredients
  • Potatoes boiled and mashed ½ kg
  • Grated cottage cheese 1 cup
  • Grated khoya ½ cup
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2tsp
  • Chili powder 2tsp
  • All spice 1tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp heaped
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Cashew nuts 15 ground
  • Onion 2 raw boiled and ground
  • Tomato puree ½ cup
Method for kofta
  • Mash together potatoes, cottage cheese and khoya, mix with salt, turmeric, chili powder, all spice and corn flour.Mix well. Shape into medium sized balls, dredge in corn flour and deep fry.
Method for gravy
  • Heat ¼ cup oil add boiled onion paste and fry for 2 minutes.Add the tomato puree, ground cashew nuts, with salt, chili powder, all spice and turmeric. Fry well,Put the fried koftas in the gravy, add cream, simmer for 5 minutes and remove.
